- Farren NWe took our cub scout pack here, and it was wonderful! Anna was great to work with, and she taught us so many interesting things about the history of Mardi Gras. It is small, but every inch is packed with history of Mardi Gras on the coast. Pictures do not do the gorgeous costumes justice! Our kids ranged in ages from 5 to 15, and they, as well as the adults in our group, were interested and engaged the whole time. After our tour, the kids got to play dress up and try on a bunch of different Mardi Gras costumes. We all had an absolute blast! I highly recommend a visit, especially for groups looking for something fun for all ages to do!
- Mark SWe travel the country full-time and enjoy finding places like this. Such wonderful history! And the colors! Being able to try on costumes was a fun plus. The informational video was well done. We made our own video!
- Liz MIt was such a nice visit. It is a small museum, but there’s quite a bit to see in there. They do private parties and will tailor the tour to your group. We learned about the Mardi Gras history especially in the local area. Such extravagant designs, they have videos available and a costume room in the back for kids to try on some of the outfits.
